I came across a Twitter hashtag that simply said: "#CrossEqualsLove". A simple but beautiful message that sums up all of Good Friday and Easter in a way that anyone can understand. After some digging around, I found out that Hillsong Church was behind it. It was their slogan for their Easter services.
But what really grabbed my attention was all the photos people had put on the internet with just the equation written in creative ways: Lego blocks forming the shapes, a projection shone out of a moving car, a sculpture of milk crates, all kinds of ways to express the Easter message. So here's some of my favourite examples:
